Sri U.Ve.Elayavilli Satajit Swami
Born on 2nd March 2005, as the son of Sri U.Ve. Elayavilli Sriram Swami and the grandson of Sri U.Ve. Elayavilli Srinivasa Bhuvarahachariar Swami, Sri.U.Ve.Elayavilli Satajit Swami hails from Alwar Thirunagari, the holy birth place of Swami Nammalwar, in Tirunelveli district in South Tamilnadu.
Maha Vidwan Sri U.Ve. Elayavilli Bhuvarahachariar Swami, a great scholar in both the Sanskrit and the Tamil Vedantas, is a well renowned Upanyasakarta and Kalaksheba Adhikaari, giving sampradaya discourses for more than FIVE decades.
His son Sri U.Ve. Elayavilli Sriram Swami, an equally talented vidwan, has been giving upanyasam for more than FIFTEEN years.
ELAYAVILLI SATAJIT Swami, a child belonging to such a parentage is indeed a blessed and talented one.
At the age of 4 and half, while children generally LISP, Satajit Swami started giving lectures on religious topics to seniors!
‘ALWARGAL VAIBHAVAM’ was the topic on which Satajit spoke for 15 minutes for 10 days each at Gugai in Salem at the tender age of 4 years.
Continuing his onward march, he rendered ‘THIRUPPAVAI’ discourses at Nampillai Sannadhi, Triplicane for 17 days at the age of 6 years in 2011.
Again in 2012 at 7 years of age, his upanyasams on Thiruppavai during the month of Margazhi for 30 days (one PASURAM for each day) at Thiruvallikeni Nampillai Sannidhi were well attended and appreciated.
In 2013 at 8 years of age, he delivered his one month(Dec 16th-Jan 14th) Tiruppavai discourse(1hr 30mn per lecture) at Keys High School, Secunderabad which was received with huge audience daily and on the day of satrumurai(i.e.final day of the discourse) about 1000 members attended his discourse. He also delivered lectures at many places in Hyderabad during that month. Andhra Pradesh Governor Mr. Lakshmi Narasimhan personally heard his lecture and appreciated him.
In 2014, he delivered his one month Thiruppavai discourse at “Thathachar Hall”, Srirangam.
Being just a 10 year old, Satajit delivered his Thiruppavai lecture in “Sri Parthasarathy Temple”, Triplicane in the year Dec 2015 – Jan 2016. He is the youngest upanyaskar to deliver a lecture in this well renowned temple.
His 6th Tiruppavai discourse was at Salem Gugai in the year Dec 2016-Jan 2017 which was very well appreciated by the Salem audience.
He delivered his 7th year Thirupavai discourse at “Sri Andaalammal Mutt”, Vannarapettai , Chennai in the year Dec 2017- Jan 2018.
In December 2018 he attracted many new audiences at Sri Venkateswara Temple,N.G.O. Colony, Tirunelveli with his lively one month Thiruppavai discourses at the age of 13.
During December 2019 – January 2020, He couldn’t travel due to his Tenth Standard examinations. But still he brilliantly balanced his exams and discourses by giving a one month lecture for 90 minutes daily from his Tirumaligai at Alwar Thirunagari which was relayed through Facebook Live and through Free conferencing. This was attended by many listeners across the world.
Satajit Swami is the youngest child to deliver Thiruppavai discourses from the age of 6. He has been delivering Thiruppavai discourses for the past 9 years.
Though he is now 15 years of age and studying in 11th(Kamlavati Higher Secondary School, Sahupuram), his talent for giving religious lectures independently like a matured vidwan is ever growing and shining.

- He delivered 28 lectures on different topics for twenty eight days for Sakthi Vikatan tele upanyasam program called “Arulosai” at the age of 6.
- He lectured for Vijay TV’s “Bhakthi Thiruvizha Program ”, recorded live at Narada Gana Sabha in February 2013.
- He gave another upanyasam for Vijay TV’s “Bala Bhakthi Thiruvizha Program”, which was telecasted in June 2013.
- He has delivered upanyasam at Sri Krishna Gana Sabha, T Nagar, Chennai, which was telecasted in Makkal T. V.

- Sakthi Vikatan titled him as “Bhaktha Balagan” at the age of 6.
- He was awarded with the title “Sath Sampradaya Bala Bhaskaran” by All India Adhi Sivachariyargal Seva Sangam at Chennai at the age of 8, in the year 2013 .
- He was awarded “Young Achiever Award – UpanyasaSelvan” from “Ungalukkaga Charitable Trust”,T.Nagar ,Chennai at the age of 10 in the year 2015.
- Swami Mudaliyandan blessed him with a title “Sri Yathiraja Padhuka Sevaka” and called him “Asthana Vidwan”of Swami Mudaliyandan sannidhi during his lecture on the day of Swami Mudaliyandan Tirunakshatra Mahotsavam (chittirai punarpoosam) at Pettai.

- He has won District first prize from U.K.G. till 5thSTD in Thiruppavai Recitation.
- He has won District first prize twice in Devotional Quiz Competition
- He has won many district level awards for story-telling.
- He has won District first prize in singing patriotic songs conducted by Vivekananda Kendram.
- He has won the district 1st prize in ‘Sri Ramayana’ state level contest conducted by Srimaan Trust, Sri Rangam in 2012.

- He won 1st prize at Union Level and was placed 2nd at district level Chess competition 2013.
- During the year 2015 Malaviya Nursery and Primary School awarded him the “Best Student Award” for his entire performance in his school.
- In his present school he has secured many district first prizes in devotional quiz competitions and many first prizes in speech competitions.
- He secured 477/500 and secured School first in his X cbse board exams.
